Rod Cutsinger
Rod Cutsinger has held a strong interest in genetics since 2017, attending conventions while meeting industry giants and academic thought leaders. An entrepreneur by nature, he has previously founded six companies – three of which were successfully taken public – and is extensively experienced in hiring, training, and managing large direct sales forces. In addition to bringing his business expertise to descendantsDNA, he is also personally invested in its healthcare vision, and is committed to helping his family, himself, and countless others live longer and healthier lives by making better healthcare decisions sooner through the power of data and genomics.
Chief Medical Officer
Reynolds M. Delgado, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Delgado is a practicing cardiologist and leader in the fields of heart failure, heart transplantation, and genetic cardiomyopathies. He has been a Basic Science Researcher in heart failure at the Texas Heart Institute, Baylor College of Medicine, and The University of Texas Houston Medical School since 1997, and has been on the Medical Education Committee at Texas Heart Institute since 2004. He also created the the heart failure clinic program at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center, where he now serves on the Transplant Medical Review Board. In business, Dr. Delgado has successfully commercialized his innovations before, such as a device to detect inherited amyloid cardiomyopathy, and now is working on descsendantsDNA to push preventive healthcare forward with genomics.

Gareth Highnam, Ph.D.
Gareth Highnam has spearheaded numerous genomics startups and developed cutting-edge technology projects from ideation to market. This work has spanned consumer, forensic, and medical industries with diverse types of revenue models. He has received research awards from the National Science Foundation and the NVIDIA Foundation, and published research in collaboration with the National Insitute of Standards and Technology, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Baylor College of Medicine, Harvard, and more. Products he has worked on have collectively reached hundreds of thousands of people, and he believes genomics will eventually underpin all aspects of preventive care and longevity.

Newton W. “Trey” Wilson III
Trey Wilson has spent over 45 years in the energy sector serving as both as an attorney and as a business executive. During his career he has been general counsel of five public companies, president of a significant upstream business, chief operating officer of a public company and chief executive officer of two private companies. He most recently held the position of General Counsel of ProPetro Holding Corp., an oilfield services company (NYSE:PUMP).

Will Symmes
In his 40 year career, Will Symmes has held a variety of senior positions in the consulting, energy and non-profit fields. He has served as senior vice-president of an industrial services company, president of a subsea engineering firm and executive director for a nonprofit as well as working five years in Europe expanding sales efforts in a plastics entity. He has also consulted with multiple start-ups in the pipeline, healthcare, manufacturing and agricultural industries. Mr. Symmes received a BEEE from Vanderbilt University and a MBA from Rice University and resides in Houston with his wife of 35 years.
