How long does it take to receive results?
Kits are usually shipped within 1-2 business days after placing the order. After you return the collection kit to the lab, expect 2-3 weeks before receiving results.
What does the Longevity Concierge Plan provide?
Signing up for the Longevity Concierge Plan gives you access to our concierge team, all DNA-based reports we offer now and in the future, as well as family management tools. Members’ DNA will also be preserved for at least 20 years in the DNA Biobank.
Who can become a member of the Longevity Concierge Plan?
Anyone can become a member of our service, and discounts are given for large family orders as well!
Are the results supported by physicians?
Not only are our reports developed with physicians and scientists working alongside each other, but every test we do is physician-ordered. We also provide actionable items where possible in the report to enable your Genetic Fellow or personal physician to make preventive interventions.
How is this different from 23AndMe or Invitae?
Our membership exclusively features whole genome sequencing which covers all of your DNA. We then create panels of genes – called reports – where we deeply analyze genes related to specific health categories like heart disease. This even includes parts of your DNA that have never been medically classified before. Many popular services run much more limited tests that at most measure 1% of your DNA. This enables us to be much more thorough and wider reaching in our analysis of your genome.
Does a patient who becomes a member have to change PCP's?
No, we do not interfere at all with your current healthcare. We encourage showing our reports to your healthcare provider to get their opinion.
